Economic and financial reality

NEVER FORGET, the Fed Bernanke -Obama, evidently, the FED - Gov ultimate purpose is to deceive and to rob all.

cnbc insanity ~~> re 'Black Swan' Author Nassim Taleb: Warren Buffett May Just Be Lucky
He did say that he will not show up in media if Bernanke is reelected. Buffett is used by big money for their purpose and was in luck by his name such as Warren Buffett like snake in Genesis 3.

Should never take seriously or trust Economists who are awarded, such as Nobel Prize, as they are being chosen to deceive mass such as Stiglitz is a part of the financial corruption as we have seen during the last decades bankrupting millions and NATIONS around the world. Otherwise, they would not have chosen if they were speaking truth.

Example is Stiglitz spewing nonsense to be used by the financial and political corruption which we are seeing it now and in the past decades.

Simple math of deteriorating wealth trend for mass and ever rising political and financial corruption speaks voluminous real facts.

The Global Problem - Greed

The world is criminal filled with "Greed": As the Bible says, "Greed" is the root of all evil, and we are seeing the effects around the world - the End of the world. http://beautifulbible.blogspot.com/2009/10/god-vs-mammon.html

After literally stealing trillions from Americans, we are still hearing noise and decoy about the housing markets. While it is easy to manipulate financial markets, R.E. markets will take decade to reoccupy and to regain the level prior to the bubble crash.

  • MBS Buyback Program Should be Extended: Fed's Bullard

A senior U.S. Federal Reserve official said its mortgage-related assets purchase program should be extended to help the economy recover from a painful recession.

  • Russia has now turned into a "criminal state", according to the man who was once its leading foreign investor.

Bill Browder of Hermitage Capital was reacting to the news that his lawyer had died in prison in Russia after being held for a year without charge. He told the BBC that his lawyer, Sergei Magnitsky, had effectively been "held hostage and they killed their hostage."

Through Hermitage Capital Bill Browder campaigned against corruption at some of Russia's largest companies. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/8372894.stm

The problem which we are facing is not "size" of banks, for example, but THE REAL PROBLEM is GREED. When we control "greed", we will be heading to right path which will promote integrity, security, world peace, and other benefits of being fair and just.

Buffett noted "Greed will always exist" during the interview at Columbia University -- and as I noted before, he is a part of the world problem associated with Greed as we can see it in the world history. We need to control greed to fix long term problems around the world. To control "greed", we must see "effect regulation" as greed is a root of all evil, corruption, immorality, and all ill-wills around the world.

While Bill Gates is certainly genuinely brilliant and generous, Buffett is inconsistently hype continues, for example, he is saving pennies while he is puffing up Americans to spend until going bankrupt. His giving away money to Gates is exceptional even though the means which he gained the money is ruthless.

How to fix America and the world

How to fix America and the world ~ before the end of the world...

http://trend-signals.blogspot.com/2009/11/who-is-paying-taxes.html

1. Take profit and pay tax based on emergency tax increase for high-income category -- e.g. 90% tax on goldman profit.

2. Reestablish strong regulations including reacting the Glass-Steagall in US as an example,

3. Recoup all high paid bonuses as they don't deserve it as the profit is gained by swindling the rest. It does not take much intellect to conspire and to wolf millions using massive collusion,

4. Back to the basics of developing basic needs and better educational system,

5. Promote "freedom of choice" of faith - Christianity, Muslim, Catholic, etc., and promote massive broadcast the freedom using global media educating the common of different faith. No faith is also a part of global education, however, enact a global bill on No-attack on any faith.

When we eliminate greedy bastardid agenda, promoting world security and peace is quite easy.
* After reviewing the details of the news, the tuition hike is necessary and a good decision. Most of countries in Asia, for example, have high tuition cost without state funds and also high competition to enter good universities like 20:1 ratio. The tuition hike is painful, but considering the CA state going bankrupt, it should have done years ago. Also, the higher tuition cost could prompt students to be serious about education.

* Our educational system has to be shaken up, actually. For example, cannabis was offered to me at schools, but I have never taken it. For example, a roomful of students smoking pots -- and even though I was there, I never took it.

Many of us are taking our system including educational system for granted, so feeling pain would be a catalyst to shake up and to get serious.

Financial Market Fooling Americans and all around the globe.

The financial markets have further indebted the United States while literally defrauding billions as we have seen the profit of Goldman, Buffett, all big funds showing that financial markets are used nothing but to swindle massive Americans as historical data is showing in various timeframe analysis - very long term, long term, short term. Short term market hype can mislead many sheeples, however, focusing on long term data can provide better understanding and reality. The colluded money profit is always coming out of massive sheeples who are listening to media hype leading to financial and spiritual disaster.

Gates & Buffett

Interesting interview : Gates is a genuinely brilliant and lucky man. Buffett is a ruthless businessman and Ben Graham is his only hero and god. Buffett frugality is certainly a good model. He asked his donation refunded from the Bill Gates foundation, but it seems that he again donated the billions?

The Buffett

11/9/2009
  • Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway plans to sell its stakes in Union Pacific [UNP 62.38 0.02 (+0.03%) ] and Norfolk Southern [NSC 51.95 -0.12 (-0.23%) ], now that it plans to buy their competitor, Burlington Northern.

In an SEC filing today (Monday), BNSF publishes the transcript of a conference call held by "certain officers" of the railroad for "certain BNSF employees" on November 3, the day Burlington and Berkshire announced their merger plans.

11/7/2009

The Buffett financial reporting is a good evidence of how corrupted the financial system is as the financial statement shows that the real operating income fell while net income is tripled using, obviously, colluded investments. As we know that he was making dubious deals in the middle of night using Goldman.

SEC/FBI is barking on small defrauds such as Galleon, however, the big frauds such as the Fed, Goldman, Buffett insider trading schemes are not touched while the fraudulent activities bankrupting the nation and millions of Americans. Only God can rescue us from such grand and egregious injustices.
    • Warren BuffettWarren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Friday said third quarter net income tripled, as rising stock markets boosted its investment holdings and a quiet hurricane season contributed to higher insurance profit.

    • Third-quarter net income for Omaha, Nebraska-based Berkshire rose to $3.24 billion, or $2,087 per Class A share, from $1.06 billion, or $682, a year earlier. http://www.cnbc.com/id/33731952

Excluding investments, operating profit fell less than 1 percent to $2.06 billion, or $1,325 per share, from $2.07 billion, or $1,335. On that basis, analysts expected profit of $1,308.25 per share, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.

Berkshire Hathaway May Lose AAA Credit Rating

Buffett made irrational and deceptive investment decisions with colluded fund power with the Fed and Goldman etc., obviously, he had done so always just same as Goldman using colluded fund. But of course SEC, FBI, etc never brings a case against the FED or any other firms as auditing the Fed is never done.

http://trend-signals.blogspot.com/2009/11/buffett-blindedness.html

    • Fitch Ratings said Thursday it may cut its ratings on Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway on concerns about the effect its planned acquisition of Burlington Northern Santa Fe will have on its asset profile and capitalization.
      Fitch Ratings

Fitch said it may cut Berkshire from AA-plus, the second-highest investment grade. The move comes a day after Standard & Poor's said it may cut Berkshire from its top AAA rating.

The acquisition of Burlington and other utilities, energy and finance company subsidiaries would shift Berkshire's asset profile to have a higher concentration in companies that have more leverage, Fitch said.

11/4/2009

It is a rational call to strip Buffett credit rating for making the irrational investment decision in a spur of the moment in the middle of the night as cnbc reported yesterday. The possibility of strip off the Berkshire credit rating is adding more reasons to an overdue market correction for many different reasons including commercial loan problems, as noted before and as Whitney and Roubini reported 'Mother of All Carry Trades' Will Lead to 'Asset Bust'.

  • Standard & Poor's logoWarren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway could be stripped of its one remaining top-grade AAA credit rating.

Standard & Poor's Ratings Services says in a news release today that it has put Berkshire on "CreditWatch with negative implications" in the wake of its announced deal to buy all of Burlington Northern Santa Fe.

Last March, S&P kept its AAA rating on Berkshire, but lowered its outlook to "negative" from "stable" because lower equity prices were hurting the capital holdings of Berkshire's insurance operations.

Fitch took away Berkshire's AAA rating in mid-March, and Moody's did the same in early April.

Economy 101

SEC refused to recognize "Accounting 101" to stop the Madoff fraud over 10 years.

Who in the right mind speak such nonsense, V-Shaped Recovery Will Last 2 Years: Wesbury, as if any normal market participants would not know that the world markets are operating with literally stolen money to pump the markets with hope of survived Americans to spend until dropping dead. V-shaped recovery stupefied with parsimonious vision defiled by voracious gratification.

The greedy capitalists, J&J to Cut 6-7% of Workforce in Restructuring, are trained to do what they have to do such as reorganization and restructure to survive. With such a tactic of management skills, the 1% owns 98% of global wealth. Are you glad that there is Heaven and Hell in Eternity -- a good news is that Jesus came to this earth to make sense the insanity.

Buffett is still pillaging at 79.
  • Oct. 31 (Bloomberg) -- Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc., the biggest shareholder in Coca-Cola Co. and Wells Fargo & Co., reduced its stake in credit-rating company Moody’s Corp. by 2.9 percent, the third cut in just over three months.

Berkshire sold 1.15 million shares and remains Moody’s biggest stockholder with 38.07 million, according to a regulatory filing yesterday. The stake sold for about $28.7 million, Berkshire said. The Omaha, Nebraska-based firm cut its Moody’s holding by 17 percent in July and 2 percent last month.http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=a06qLPCeo.vQ&pos=4

Trillions exit yet?

Markets were pushing up for months in light volume trading, and even after 50%-300% rallies based on Hope Theme, I don't see visible profit taking even though internal was showing it. Trillions will look for exit to lock in huge gains since the March low.

Buffett naive or deceptive? While the title for the Buffett interview sounds reasonable, the main factor operating and managing financial market is mainly "deception" and "unfair practices" which noted on previous commentaries. Financial market system at the top is unfair and collusive operation -- therefore, the capitalism is broken as the statistics of wealth disparity proves the points. Furthermore, if indeed the wars were manipulated to profit from, i.e. war profiteering, the greed is indeed evil and is seeded in eternal death. Therefore, his premise of WS is not evil is either naive or deceptive.
>> Warren Buffett doesn't look at Wall Street as "evil," but he does believe both "carrot" and "stick" incentives are needed to make sure people "behave well" while they are trying to get rich.

>> As soon as Obama became president, he showed us that the State Secrets Privilege was going to continue to be a tool of choice. It’s an arcane executive privilege to cover up wrongdoing—in many cases, criminal activities. And the Obama administration has not only defended using the State Secrets Privilege, it has been trying to take it even further than the previous terrible administration by maintaining that the U.S. government has sovereign immunity. This is Obama’s change: his administration seems to think it doesn’t even have to invoke state secrets as our leaders are emperors who possess this sovereign immunity. This is not the kind of language that anybody in a democracy would use.

Poor Warren Buffett

There was a certain man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate full of sores, and desiring to be fed the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table, moreover, the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died, and was buried. And in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, "Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, "Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receiveth thy good tidings, and likewise Lazarus evil things: But now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that they which would pass from hence to you, cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence." Then he said, "I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldst send him to my father's house: For I have five brethren: that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment." Abraham said unto him, "They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them." And he said, "Nay, father Abraham: But if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent." And he said unto him, "If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rose from the dead." Luke 16:19-31

Warren Buffett and I both live in Omaha, Nebraska.

I live in his city, he doesn’t live in mine.

Buffett is said to have more wealth than any single person in the world, except his friend Bill Gates, III.

Except by reputation, I scarcely know Warren Buffett. I’m quite sure he knows me not at all, neither by reputation or recollection.

When I was an editor of the University of Nebraska at Omaha student newspaper in 1972, Buffett’s weekly, the Omaha Sun Newspapers, was our printer. While preparing the campus paper for print, I got to know some of the reporters and the editor-in-chief of the Sun Newspapers.

Warren Buffett - CNBC interview

Warren Buffett has done three live interviews with CNBC over the last few weeks, amid the worst financial crisis to hit the United States since the Great Depression.

The first was on September 24, the morning after his $5 billion investment in Goldman Sachs.

Then one week later, on October 1, he spoke to us about the $3 billion he spent for General Electric preferred shares.

Two days after that, Buffett told us the just-passed $700 billion rescue bill would help the U.S. economy, but it wouldn't be a "panacea."

Warren Buffett Watch has already posted transcripts of each of those conversations.

They're now available for download in a single PDF document. (Adobe Acrobat)
